Dining
Dining at Ballachulish House offers the best of legendary highland hospitality
and superb fine dining within a luxurious setting.
We are proud to offer dining in our internally recognized, award winning restaurant. The menu has a firm emphasis on using the best, fresh, locally-sourced Scottish produce, combined with a modern French twist. Ballachulish House prides itself on maintaining the highest standards that include outstanding service and ambience. We constantly strive for culinary perfection to offer you the best dining experience the Highlands have to offer. Building upon the historic French influence within the region, the fixed nightly menu is preceded by canapés in the drawing room by the fire. Guests are often entertained by our resident piper, Mr. Stephen Granger, before being escorted into the dining room for coffee, tea and petit fours.
The menus are changed on a daily basis to give you the freshest ingredients
available. Seasonality plays a large part in menu creation - relying on,
for instance, wild mushrooms from the local woods and glens, fish landed
in Mallaig and Loch Linnhe langoustines and scallops.
